First half-year in line with expectations – strong growth of the order-book
The order-book is 18.1 % larger than 12 months ago and grew 42.1 % since 1 January 2015. This strong development raises expectations for a dynamic second half of 2015.
In Switzerland, order intake suffered from competition by manufacturers based outside Switzerland (– 3.3 %), but maintenance grew strongly by 23.4 % (incl. forex effect). The maintenance of elevators segment is back on a growth path, showing 8.7 % higher order intake.
